The history of Interhotel Central dates back to the end of the 19th century. For a long time, the hotel served as a luxurious hotel to high-class Germans. After the World War II, it maintained its position on the German market, as well as it became popular in the former Soviet Union. After 1990, the hotel changed to an internationally acclaimed spa with its own balneotherapy centre. For the spa procedures, the hotel uses the thermal mineral waters of Karlovy Vary, certified by N 17 certificate which is located on the façade of the hotel.
The history of the Interhotel Central dates back over 100 years. It is located in the very heart of the Karlovy Vary spa zone, next to the Municipal Theatre on Divadelní náměstí. The hotel also offers free entry to the swimming pool with a hot tub, a fitness centre and a games room with billiard and table tennis. Parking is possible in a hotel garage or in front of the hotel.
The colonnades with their excellent hot springs are less than 100 metres away. The hotel's services and facilities justifiably place it among the best sanatoriums in the spa zone. The hotel offers both comprehensive and relaxation treatments. Children from the age of 6 can be treated.
The restaurant serves international cuisine and also caters for special diets that form a necessary part of the comprehensive treatment.
